A first thing first, pancakes. Once we were functioning we made our way to Pancake Pantry, highly recommended. I mean Doug the pug has eaten there, so you know its good. Post-pancakes we wandered around Vanderbilt campus, and then headed to the Country Music Hall of Fame. Yea, its $50USD so that was a quick turn around, although I did get a guitar pick from the gift shop so that’s like kind of the same thing as going in, right? From here we headed to the bluebird café, closed. We took a quick picture out front then headed to Franklin, drove around and grabbed Starbucks in Cool Springs. Last stop was the Grand Ole Opry, took some normal pictures out front, wandered around, then found some giant guitars that had a sign “Do not sit or stand in the area”, so we climbed them.
Time to turn up; we got ready and headed out (after taking 8 billion pictures in the backyard). We wanted to try this cool restaurant that was recommended to us called AVO, we got there, closed. So we made our way to the road to call another Uber, on the way I nearly ate it up a hill and then my toe fell out of my shoe (don’t ask me how.. I don’t know). With empty stomachs we head to the bar, first ACME, upon arrival we immediately ask for the menu (because, priorities) and order tacos. We then proceed to DEMOLISH these tacos sitting at the bar (this is a popular, busy bar) and we could not have been more content. We dummy a few beers, and then head out. We go to two other bars (can’t recall the names) then head back to our AirBnB.
